Your WebExpress Theme Site

Using WebExpress's Theme Site's is rather easy. There are a few things you need to know before you start...

  • Please make sure you read everything on the page before you begin changing the page.

  • Click on the Plus symbol next to Index.htm in the WebSite manager (box on the left hand side of your screen), to see all the pages linked to Index.htm

  • You can change the text on any of the buttons by right clicking on the button, selecting Image Text Properties, and changing the text in the text box. If the button has no text right click on the button and select Create Image Text. See Below...

  • Hold the CONTROL key down on your keyboard and click on a link to go to the linked page. Remember, WebExpress is not a browser, it is an Editor, thus it does not work like your Netscape or Internet Browser.

  • To insert a button or an image click on the Insert Image button up top, or click on Insert, Image. The Picture dialog box will open, and you will need to click on the File button to find the image you wish to use.

  • If you wish to create a new page on the web site. First, create a link to the page you wish to create. To do so, create some text or insert a button image. Select the text or image and click on the Insert\Edit Link button (it looks like linked a chain). Type in the name of the page you wish to create, make sure it has a .htm extension on the end of the name (blah.htm), click OK. Now hold the Control button down and click on the link you created. WebExpress will tell you that the page does not exist, would you like to create it? Click Yes and start on your new page.
