A: You can use this technique to create a colored background for any type of label. 1. Choose the Rectangle Tool from the Control Strip 2. Click and hold the mouse button while dragging a rectangle that covers the entire label. 3. To change the color, double click on the object and select the Properties tab. 4. Click the 'Shades' button and change the color in the 'Foreground' option. Note: If a label is positioned in a printer's Unprintable Area, it will be impossible for the colored background to cover the entire label.
