#02-014 Creating Custom Label Templates Keywords: label templates Last updated: April 1, 1998 Q: Can I create templates for labels not currently supported directly within DesignExpress? A: If a template is not supported in DesignExpress yet, you can customize an existing template or create a new template: 1. Choose 'New' from the 'File' menu. 2. Select a template from the SmartDesign list which is the most similar to the one you want to create 3. Press the 'Custom' button to set the measurements of your label(s). 4. Press the Name/Folders button to enter the name of your new template 5. Enter a short description about your template and click OK. Your template is now displayed on your SmartDesign list in the New dialog. Note: In Step 2, if no current products come close, you can simply select one of the folders, and start from scratch. Your resulting template will be stored in the folder you selected.
