Q: How
do I create sequence numbers?
A: Sequence
or serial numbers are used to automatically create a series of
numbers on successive designs. This is useful for serial numbers,
diskette sets, tickets and other similar applications. You only need
to create one single design, and use the Sequence Number Field. Here
is how to do it:
1.
Select 'Insert Field' from the 'Utilities' menu .
2.
Scroll the list of field types down to select 'Sequence Number'.
3.
Press the Settings button to set the Sequence properties if
necessary and click OK. You can use the settings to set the starting
value, the increment value, and whether to numbering should restart
each time you print.
4.
To print multiple labels select 'Print' from the 'File' menu and
type the number of labels in the Print option and click OK.
Note:
Sequence numbers are not intended to create numbered lists.
