#01-011 Working with frames Im having a problem viewing my pages in a specific frame. Whats wrong? If you create hyperlinks that you want to associate with a page viewing in another frame you may notice a text box labeled Target: at the bottom of the Create/Edit Link dialog window. The Target modifier to a hyperlink is necessary for web pages that uses Frames. This way we can tell the browser which Frame window we want a web page displayed in. For example, suppose you have two frames named Left and Right. If you create a link in the page that appears in the left frame, and pick Right as the target, when a user clicks on the link in the left frame, the page will change in the right frame. To do so, place the cursor where you want to create a hyperlink, then click the Hyperlink tool. At the bottom of the Create/Edit Link dialog window, type the name of the frame in the Target field. This will cause the page linked to by this hyperlink to be loaded into our Frame window. Now click OK. Place the cursor on a second hyperlink on the page and follow the same procedure, setting the hyperlinks Target modifier to the same window. Click OK when youre done and Save the page. Thats it! Now display the Frame window page in WebExpress. From the WebExpress Menu click View, then click on your browser name. |
